Battletech: The Frontier Lands is a text-based, real-time version of the popular Battletech board game by FASA. Players take to the front lines of a brutal war, piloting their own implements of destruction against one another.

Battletech: The Frontier Lands is a BattletechMUX set in the distant future world of the 31st century, mostly focusing on conflicts within and around the Inner Sphere. The many political and military powers battle for supremacy and survival in a cutt-throat, dog-eat-dog manner. Players take to the front line of the wars, piloting massive war machines such as Tanks, Choppers, Battlesuits, Warships, and the deadly 100 ton BattleMech.

Note: BattletechMUX is a server for a text-based realtime rendition of Battletech, the popular boardgame that was pioneered by FASA (now owned by WizKids). However, instead of using a table-top system like in the traditional boardgame, BattletechMUXs are persistent games which are enjoyed by people all over the world rather than gathered around a table.
