This version is both for windows and Linux.

Western Quake 3 started as a mod for Quake 3, now thanks to the stand alone project and (of course) the release of the Quake3 Engine source, it is possible to play it as a stand-alone full game (does not require the q3 game).

Macintosh users: The game (should) run fine with CrossOver
