Novashell is a game maker that allows rapid development of scrolling, adventure, and role-playing games with an extra focus on AI and RPG elements like dialogs, quest, mapping, and item systems.The underlying principle is everything can be cut and pasted and still work right.
An OpenGL capable graphics card is required.
Price: Free!
This engine is also driving the new adventure/RPG we have in development so you can be sure it will have all the features needed to make a decent game. Well, if we ever finish the RPG that is.
