Yep Rome Total War 2, to be released in 2013… Will you fight for the Eagle or for the Wolf?
So Rome 2? I think Creative assembly choosed the safe path, don’t get me wrong Rome definetly needed and deserverd a sequel.. but i would have first explored other scenarios.. for example, The Great War 1918, Warhammer Fantasy or 40k, Lords of the Rings… a bit more fantasy or never seen ideas..
Talking about Rome 2 i think it s a bit too early, since the game will be released in 2013, but we can say something.. or speculate a little.. The naval battles will finally be there, giving new dimensions to Punic Wars and other epic engagments.. flame arrows, catapults and massive boarding? yes. The technology developed until now will be putted in rome 2, so it is plausible they could include first person view if u wanna fight as a soldier, an archer or a siege weapon… and in multiplayer too? Who knows..
Who said Medieval Total War 3? 😆 Probably after Rome 2.. 😆

Before Creative Assembly shaked the pc gaming with Shogun Total War (the first not fully 3d), to play in the feudal japan, in the medieval age, in the Roman Empire or in the Napoleonic Age, there were other games, so here a little show of those games…
Total Fucking Psychopath is the latest game from Studio Stök! It’s a freeware, retro-styled, arcade-styled action game, in which you take on the role of a psychotic killer, just as he’s about to embark on a violent murder spree. Your goal as the killer is to slay as many victims as possible during your time alive.
Another idea for a game.. Do you know Travian? Do you know Rome Total War? I think it would be nice to mix those two types of games.. In your browser you mange troops and kingdom while in the battles, you play as in the multiplayer of Total War (with up to 16 generals.. since i don t think the tw engine would support more than that..)

There is actually a game, Strongholds Kingdoms which is in development and uses this hybrid gametype, browser for strategy and real time 2d engine for battles.
P.S Stronghold Kingdoms is currently in alpha 4, which will start july 19th 2010.
Back in the Stone Age, the first Total War game was a masterpiece, never before was seen such a great rts engine with thousands of units in the field with scenographic and epic battlefields, after some time it was introduced the Rome Total War, which was in Full 3D and the last Empire which added naval battles and multiplayer campaign with Napoleon..
I wonder how this Shogun 2 will be? Maybe we will see samurai climbing the walls of castles, Rifleman will build defensive trenches, furious and spectacular sword fights, full multiplayer support or arcade scene like in a old Amiga game Lords of the Rising Sun.. since now technology and powerful cpus allows for all this goodness.
