Iji is an action-packed strategic platform shooter with a detailed story, large levels with multiple paths, powerful bosses and lots of secrets. There are alternate gameplay events, dialogues and scenes depending on what you do, a wealth of extras and bonus features, and seven stats to upgrade through a leveling system. Iji herself has superhuman strength and abilities, and can crack Nanotechnology, use her enemies’ most devastating weapons against them, and be a pacifist or a killer which changes her mood and the fate of those around her. Soundtrack by Chris Geehan and Dan Byrne McCullhough, songs also by Tom Mauritzon and Captain Goodnight (and LifeForce, but their song was not originally recorded for Iji).

A hard as Hell platform.
I Wanna Be The Guy: The Movie: The Game is a sardonic loveletter to the halcyon days of early American videogaming, packaged as a nail-rippingly difficult platform adventure. Players fill the role of The Kid, a youthful, vaguely Megaman-esque protagonist on a quest to become The Guy. This inscrutable plot, however, is just a vehicle for a wide variety of inventive, well-designed and frustrating jump-and-shoot challenges that pay homage to many of the games you loved as a child. The ever-fragile Kid explodes in a shower of red pixels at the slightest brush from the game’s many obstacles, from traditional spikes and bottomless pits to more unconventional killers, such as plantlife and puzzle pieces.

FaceWound is a nice platform-shooter, rich of particle effects, and fully 3d accelerated, fight your way through levels full of zombies. The game has an editor included, with which you can do maps or mods.

The year is 2288. The city is protected by an organization called “The Peacekeepers League” and everything is swell except for that it’s under attack! By a robot army lead by professor Darnacus Damnation!! Or is it… ? 100 years after the events of Noitu Love 1 the new star of the Peacekeepers is Xoda Rap, and what she has to endure is a sudden resurrection of the Darn armies, but adding to that the city is locally turning to places of the past! What could be causing this?
Using a mouse reticule as a quick-dash-to-enemies and mouse gestures for special moves, Xoda will take on anything that stands in her way in the name of peace! The game shares little in pacing and action to Noitu Love 1. It is more of a continuation on that universe, so expect much more mindless action!
This pre-release version contains stage one in it’s entirety, and a third of the second level.

A nice platform game.
Bonesaw: The Game is an indepedent 2d side-scrolling game that mixes elements from puzzle, beat-em-up, and platforming genres. The game’s central theme revolves around Clarkson University, and the University’s hockey team The Golden Knights.The game does not take place at Clarkson, nor will you see levels that are taken from campus. The player takes on the role of a lone Golden Knight who must save the rest of the team from an evil Referee who has taken them hostage in his interdimensional penalty box… in space. With over 30 levels, a ton of collectables, and some side things to do, this game will be pretty big (for a 2d, independent side scroller.)
