Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced Infinite Crisis, an all-new multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed by Turbine, the award winning studio behind free-to-play online games including The Lord of the Rings Online. Infinite Crisis is a free-to-play game that features a deep roster of DC Comics characters and is scheduled for release in 2013 for the PC.
Trendy Entertainment announced Dungeon Defenders II is in development. Dungeon Defenders II will be free-to-play for PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and Web. It will have a new competitive mode, is half-described as a MOBA, and is already in closed Beta testing. Dungeon Defenders II is the sequel of the popular tower-defense role-playing game, Dungeon Defenders. Unlike it’s predecessor, Dungeon Defenders II features a cooperative and competitive mode. Heroes, cosmetic items, pets, and more will transfer across both modes.
