Let’s talk about multiplayer games on pc.
And particulary i ‘ll focus on some specific games.

Shogun Total War 2

Well it seems that finally Creative Assembly is going in the right direction. Still no persistent War or World, but in this new chapter we’ll have persitent armies, persistent general fully customizable and customizable banners as well! Plus other than classic battles 4 v 4, a new game mode Conquest of Japan, it works like this: You start conquering japan, when you attack a neutral territory you will face an human opponent that is playing that game mode too, a big step foward in just battling cpu.

Guild Wars 1 was a nice game, with a great graphic and an innovative business system (no monthly fee). Guil Wars 2 will be even better, well i guess this is what you get when you ensemble a teams of talents, it’s not a case that many of the developers comes from the Blizzard (the real blizzard). They switched to a Guild Wars like business model, basically buy the client and play for free.

Participating in the online gaming industry is more challenging now than it has ever been and the Free to Play market has changed the game. Partially for the good. Partially for the bad. It has resulted in more choices for gamers, but lessened the quality of so many released products and Micro transactions are now becoming the norm. To evolve with the ever changing market, Alganon has moved to a Subscription Free model.

There is a difference between Free to Play (F2P) and Subscription Free (SF). F2P gives the client away so there is zero barrier of entry. This creates a game world where anyone can just come in and do their thing. The drawback is the lack of controlling troublemakers and defining the general social maturity of a game.

We decided to keep the purchase price to prevent Alganon from being saturated by gamers who have no investment in the game they are playing. Even though we are subscription free most gamers prefer to play with others who are committed to the game to some degree.

Bloodline Champions is a competitive online multiplayer game for up to ten players in which two teams fight for dominance. Each player can choose between a variety of playable Bloodlines with different spectacular abilities, from the awesome strength of the Vanguard to the deceptive magic of the Harbinger. These Bloodlines fight each other in a unique setting, combining Asian and African cultural influences into something completely new.

Bloodline Champions is a game primarily based on player skills instead of character level. Most abilities in the game are projectile based, which means that if your attack hits something it really hits. There are no miss chances, no critical strike chances, no min/max damage, no chance values at all. This makes Bloodline Champions into more of an action game than its’ competitors.

Bloodline Champions will have a deep but simple system for character development, making sure that players are as entertained playing their first game as they are their hundredth.

The Zaishen Menagerie

In a beautiful, lush new explorable area in the Battle Isles, the Zaishen Order runs a tight business breeding and training all the common and prestige pets from around the world for their clientele. There are a few ways you can start your own collection in the Menagerie. Bring any pet with you or your Heroes to the Tamer in the Menagerie Grounds. The Tamer will check your pet’s evolution and unlock that tier and any lower tiers. Adding charmed pets to the Menagerie is absolutely free. You can also use Balthazar Faction or pay with Zaishen Coins and gold to have the Zaishen Order unlock and train evolutions of pets for you. This way, you’ve got several choices for unlocking all your pets.

The Zaishen Challenge Quests

Many are familiar with the Zaishen Challenge in the Battle Isles, and soon the Zaishen will extend their Challenge in the form of new quests. There will be three different types of Zaishen Challenge Quests: Mission, Bounty, and PvP.

* Mission quests send you to replay storyline missions from each campaign.
* Bounty quests dispatch you to kill boss monsters in dungeons, veteran missions, and explorable areas.
* PvP quests challenge you to win battles in various PvP types.

Each day, a new quest of each type is available in the Great Temple of Balthazar. You can complete these Zaishen Challenge Quests any time you wish; however, you can only have three in your quest log at once. The most comprehensive strategy is to finish challenge quests the day you get them, so you free up space in your quest log for the next day’s batch. Check back daily to take on the new Zaishen Challenge Quest experience, whether in relaxed solo runs or paired up with a friend or larger group for co-op play.

We’re finally at our fourth anniversary! We couldn’t have come this far without each and every one of you, so in addition to our upcoming Fourth Year Anniversary Update, we’re throwing a big party in your honor.

The festivities begin on Thursday, April 23 after the live update and run until noon on Wednesday, April 29.
