UPDATE: The game launched on Steam, cause of this it has changed from the free to play to a more classic buy to play. The game is not free to play.

Stellar Impact is now free to play. Since the release, Stellar Impact had difficulty to gather enough players. To resolve this problem the economic model becomes a free to play. Everybody will be able to play for free and infinitly but will be limited to the MK1, you will have to buy a premium account to unlock the others MK.

The Mayan were right? The Gods are coming back to earth? According to Mayan calendar 21st December 2012 is the end of the last age… so something big is going to happen. There is this comet named Elenin, it was discovered by Russian astronomer Leonid Elenin on Dec. 10, 2010, at International Scientific Optical Network’s robotic observatory near Mayhill, New Mexico. This comet is 300 million miles away and moving in our direction, it has surpassed Saturn and its moons and should be on its way for Jupiter, it will be relatively close to earth on October 16, at a distance of about 21 million miles. By late August comet Elenin should be visible to the naked eye as a dim “fuzzy star” with a tail. But there is a problem.. Some scientists have noted that inside the comet tail.. there is a globular cluster, a dark composition and misterious strange signals.. a big Mother ship and possibly a full Alien Fleet. Nasa confirmed in a first moment the math and orbit projectory of the comet, after realizing there was something wrong they removed the page of the website. Is this comet a real threat? And most important as the Chinese Space Agency say, why a vessel or an entire fleet is inside the comet tail for 90 days? Who knows, maybe starships uses this methods (that we don t know yet) to travel from a star system to another, maybe it s not a comet they are just decelerating, or they are really hiding in preparation of an invasion of Earth,in that case and if they are hostile prepare yourself for a giant battle on earth skies and maybe epic gunfights in every town of the planet.

In a WW2 Navy enviroment in this original mmo we will be at the command of our ship and crew and could take part to huge naval battles up to 128 players (64 vs 64).

Trial accounts in SA never expire. They can be played 7 days a week and 52 weeks a year just like a paid account. However, of course there is a catch or two. The first day a trial account is registered, that account is given 2 hours of play time. After that first day, each subsequent day the account is given 1 hour to play. Additionally, access to higher technology, like corvettes, destroyers, and battleships, is restricted making fighters and escorts the mainstay for trial accounts. However, trial accounts have the same front row seat to the carnage that paid accounts do, perhaps only with smaller guns. The time limit should fit most any casual gamer’s daily allotment, but should you need more, a one time subscription can be bought at any time.
