I don’t know if this works for Linux and Macintosh too, please if someone with those system can tell me if the game works under linux and mac, thanks in advance.

The only downside (as far as i know) it’s that you can publish on many platform, pc, wii, iphone BUT you can develop only on the Macintosh platform. BUT as you can see from a guy comment down here, the PC version will (should) be available very soon.

Platinum Arts Sandbox is the game design tool based on the Cube 2 engine that allows users to quickly and easily create and edit their own worlds in game, even cooperatively. It is free, open source, and easy to use for Kids and Adults!
