I heard around the web that they went more pure first person shooter (or third view) this time, i think they took the right decision, in the first one the ‘RPG-Section’ were boring as hell..
Some one at Bioware must have played Metal Gear Solid 2 on the ps2, or simply find out that there were better ways to tell a story between some explosive and scenographic action gun fights… 😆
But i could be wrong.. and this plays exactly as the first one.. anyone who played this wanna tell us sometinhg about it? 😆
A multiplayer patch for Running With Scissors’ POSTAL 2 – is now available via download as a very special gift to the POSTAL Community.
Co-created by RWS member Jon Merchant and POSTAL mod master Kamek, with support from various members of that storied game community, the patch dubbed 1409X is prepared to prove that the long wait for its arrival was well worth it.
“1409X is a collection and vast improvement of the greatest and most commonly used POSTAL 2 multiplayer updates, game types and fixes, all organized into a nice little patch,” explained Merchant. “It also fixes some bugs based on community feedback and adds three new DeathMatch maps, eight arena maps and a Snatch map.”
Running With Scissors released for free the multiplayer version of Postal 2: Share the Pain, the multiplayer expansion to their controversial FPS Postal 2. Share The Pain contains 14 multiplayer maps, 25 playable characters, 11 crazy weapons and 4 different gametypes.

Set years after the events of the first game, Merry Gear Solid 2 sets Old Snake on an adventure to retrieve Santa’s Hat from an extremist group known as the Ghosts of Christmas Past. Using an array of new tools, and returning favorites, Solid Snake must infiltrate Outer Savin’ mall and prevent the Ghosts from taking control of the SOC (Spirit of Christmas) System.

Biggest selling video game in history? So It seems..
Let’s make things clear, this game is identical in all three version (PC,X360,PS3) which means on PC no dedicated servers, and online matchmaking restricted to 9 vs 9.
This is not the best game ever made, but if you like FPS it is one of the most enjoyable, i think details are amazing, as you can see in the screenshot, there is the c-130 chaff and flare ‘Angel’ (a real class touch in my opinion) or in the screenshot of the gunfight you can see so many details one doesn’t even notice during the fury of the fight, but they are still there.. The single-player is short, multiplayer is identical to console (limited from a pc-gamer point of view), the russian version of the game does not include a controversial scene that allowed the player to shoot at innocent civilians in a Moscow airport.
Did i buy this game? no, but just beacouse i feel it is overpriced and the way is made now multiplayer part of the game is not attracting me. In my opinion this game started and was designed for console (xbox,ps3) and pc version is just a straight port, obviously the PC Gaming is not dead but outside the World of WarCraft i don’t see a lot of freshness..
