Much like Jetro Lauha's Racing Pitch, Opera Slinger is an IGF student showcase entry that requires the use of a microphone to perform certain actions in the game. Step into the shoes of Forte the opera singer as he attempts to win over his fans in a singing duel with an evil adversary.

Make your way towards each spotlight to initiate the singing sequence. A slick production showcasing good 3D modelling and textures but the gameplay is a little lacking.

A smaller version of Fumito Ueda's masterpiece, Samurai Colossus tells the tale of a lone warrior faced with an army of mechs. Armed with only a katana and some dexterous skills, rendering these monstrous juggernauts powerless may prove to be a daunting task as some of the robots are more than a few stories high.

Decent 3D graphics overshadow the rather generic gameplay, although it's definitely an item of interest for hack and slash fans.

HitBlock is a decent remake of Crillion with updated graphics and adjustable difficulty among other options. The objective of the game is basically to break all destructible blocks using the perpetually moving ball. The player has to change the color of the ball often, avoid steel, collect keys and more, depending on the level requirements.

The gameplay may be archaic but anyone who enjoyed the classic will be delighted with this remake.

Merry Gear Solid: Secret Santa is a top down stealth action game in the vein of Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid series.
It's grid-based as it was entered in the Daily Click Grid-Based X-mas game competition.
Use distractions and tools you find around the level to distract and get past any guards that are you in your way.
The game is relatively short, taking around 10-20 minutes to complete. The story is related to the Metal Gear Solid series' plot so if you haven't played those games, you might be kind of lost.

A nice and challenging puzzle/action.
Author says:This puzzle game is controlled with the keyboard and mouse - the keyboard moves the character, while the mouse is used to place and destroy bricks. The first set of levels are built as tutorials, to ease you into the game one step at a time, and the help file tells you everything that the tutorials don't. The game has over 50 levels of increasing difficulty, and there is also a user-friendly level editor where you can create, edit and play your own levels. Il mitico Rockman torna grazie al certosino lavoro degli appasionati del mugen, un classico gioco alla street fighter(anche se molto semplificato in questa versione), altamente editabile. Official Site
