Battle of the Evil Saucers is a combination of an arcade action game and an RTS game. The focus is on the arcade action, where the player controls a UFO and shoots at enemy troops and UFO. However, the goal of the game, which is to gain control of the most control points on the map, is achieved through the RTS element. The RTS part of the game is played on a 2D ground map, while the arcade part is played on a 2D plane above ground. The setting of the game is in the future, when aliens called Evil, have taken control over Earth to use mankind in their war games.

This site is nice they offer 50 boardgames (like Catan, Carcassone, Turn and Taxis, Backgammon, Clans, Cartagena, Trans America and more..). All playable online and multiplayer. They have a 'virtual city' system too, where u start as a citizen and can become the mayor.

Warzone 2010 is a 3D RTS game developed by Pumpkin Studios and published by Eidos Interactive in 1999 for both PC and PlayStation. A fan group called Pumpkin-2 managed to petition Eidos, the legal owner of the source, to make Warzone open-source. Now the game is being developed with lots of features added, such as increased multiplayer unit-limit, support for Glide, several compatibility fixes for Windows XP, and most recently, the introduction of static shadows.

The lost Castle is a roundbased mini strategy game. One level is divided into the Build mode where you place your buildings. And the Attack mode where the enemies invade.
Gamegoal is to defeat as much enemies as possible and to earn as much gold as possible. This can be achieved to place the wartowers wise to defeat the invading enemies. And by building as much houses as possible to earn enough gold. The art here is to find the right balance. Sounds easier as it is
Your castle in the center gets damaged when an enemie reaches it. The game is over when the castle is destroyed.

Star Wars Total Annihilation, or SWTA for short, was a mod that began all the way back when Total Annihilation was first released, in 1997. It has gone through a series of successionary leaderships (or what the liberal media like to call 'bloody coups'), and by the release of the final "Advanced Fighter Pack", SWTA had become arguably the most popular Total Conversion for Total Annihilation, with download counts numbering well in the thousands.
The release of Spring meant that SWTA could very easily be ported over into that 3D engine.

This mod is a Total Conversion to place the Gundam Universe into spring game format. The mod does not stray into any of the side universes of Gundam. It stays loyally within the "UC" or Universal Century time line. This was done because there are no enjoyable Gundam RTS or table top games. In the history of modding there has yet to be a complete Gundam mod, which is shocking when one considers the world-wide popularity of the anime.

UFO2000 is free and opensource turn based tactical squad simulation multiplayer game. It is heavily inspired by the famous X-COM: UFO Defense game. While UFO2000 engine was specifically designed to be compatible with the graphics resources and maps from X-COM, you don't need any proprietary data files to play as a new fan-made set of graphics exists and is included in UFO2000 distribution by default (see screenshot), so the game is ready to run out of the box. But if you want an exact X-COM look and feel, you have an option of installing original X-COM and TFTD data files and use them for extending UFO2000 with additional maps, weapon sets and units.UFO2000 is written in portable C++ and is known to compile and run on Linux, FreeBSD and Windows. Latest versions of UFO2000 can work on various architectures such as 64-bit Linux (AMD64), MacOS X (PowerPC) and Linux powered handhelds (ARM)
Right now only human vs. human multiplayer is supported. This is not so bad, especially considering that you may find human opponents much more challenging than a stupid AI in the original games. Up to this moment UFO2000 development was primarily focused on portability and expandability (the game can be extended using lua scripting language), independence from proprietary data files was also a very important milestone.

Empire is a real time, multiplayer, Internet-based game, featuring military, diplomatic, and economic goals.
It is a strategy wargame played by a number of people (usually between 4 and 100) on the internet connected to an Empire Server. If you've ever seen the game "Civilization", Empire is a lot like it, except it is more detailed, and of course multi-player. As the leader of a nation which consists of certain sectors on a large hexagonal grid, you decide (based on resources) what each sector's "designation" should be. This way, you obtain food, iron, gold, oil, uranium. You distribute these raw materials to factories to convert them into more useful things. The core game is released under GPL License. Fortunately as of now, there are also two mods which have been released under the GNU/GPL, and several more which do not have clear licence terms (owned by their modder).
However, there are also several mods for which some parts are still under copyright of Atari. For these you need to own the original TA game if you want to play.

The game can be described as an adventure game, with dialogs and puzzles, though elements of a rts game exists, such as battles and multi unit control. To start with, the game will be released as a singleplayer game only, but we have kept the doors open for a possible multiplayer version in the future. Thousand Parsec is a framework for turn based space empire building games.
It is important to understand that Thousand Parsec is not a game by itself, it is a frame work for creating a similar group of games. Some of the games, such as our first demo game MiniSec, are developed by the Thousand Parsec developers themselves. In the near future we hope that other developers will create their own games using Thousand Parsec.
Some examples of games which Thousand Parsec draws ideas from are, Stars!, VGA Planets, Master of Orion and Galactic Civilizations. These games are often called 4 X's from the main phases found in the games, eXplore, eXpand, eXploit and eXterminate. If you haven't heard of them, other games which are a bit similar include, Civilisation, Hero's of Might and Magic and Starcraft.

An unpolished version of Master of Orion dating back before the game's launch. Master of Orion was originally titled "Star Lords", which you may have heard referred to as "MOO 0". The game runs in genuine MS-DOS mode - run start.exe to get the game going (press start to skip by copy protection). Requires DosBox to run on modern systems.

Base Invaders is basically a different take on the popular 'defend the base' strategy game, developed by Seventh Sigma as another DigiPen project. Your objective is to repel enemy waves by building walls and placing elaborate traps around your tower.
There's a proper tutorial to help new users familiarize themselves with the controls, and each level introduces a new weapon or two instead of offering the entire selection immediately at the start and baffling players in the process.

Much like Dungeon Keeper, you can pick up the Invaders and throw them to inflict damage as well. The game includes a challenge mode and the excellent Invaderpedia, which offers inside information on every enemy type.

A great strategy game, originally published in 1997.
These are just some of the features found in Enemy Nations:

* A beautifully detailed world with incredible graphics and randomly-generated maps so you face a new challenge each time you play.
* Multi-player as it should be: Native network support for TCP/IP (Internet), IPX (Novell), NETBIOS, TAPI, MODEM and Serial play.
* No limit to the number of players in multi-player games (tested to 20 players). (The world size is dependent upon the number of players so large multi-player games won't put you right next to your opponents.)
* Includes a server to find all available players over the Internet.
* Resource and information sharing in multi-player games: See your allies' buildings and scout vehicles - and share resources with them! Ability to give vehicles and buildings to other players.
* A fully adaptive, real-time AI opponent (or opponents!) that you can play at FOUR levels of difficulty. This AI is not at ALL predictable!
* A much richer combat model with combat affected by terrain, unit attack strength, defensive armor, fire rate, setup time (unit must stop and aim), accuracy, blast radius and much more.
* / True fog of war affected by trees and terrain.
* Wrapping map so you can attack opponents from all sides.
* Runs at the resolution of your monitor (tested to 1600x1200).
* All art is rendered at 8, 15, 16, 24 and 32-bits so if you can run Windows at true color, you get true color.
* A richer economic model with population, power and damage all affecting the production rates of buildings.
* Ability to build roads and bridges to provide improvements in vehicle movement speed (which is affected by terrain).
* A full Research & Development tree with over 50 items.
* Factories can be set to build any number of units so there's no need to issue construction orders every time a single vehicle is produced.
* Multiple windows of the map so you can view your base AND your attack force simultaneously.
* A TRUE isometric map view with FOUR zoom levels and rotation in FOUR directions.
