GUSANOS is an open-source clone of the DOS game Liero. It currently works on Windows and Linux.
In the game each player controls a small worm armed to the teeth and fights other worms in a destructible battleground. It can be described as "Real-time Worms" or "2D Quake", or a combination of both.
The gameplay is as close as possible to Liero's. Hardcore Liero players will feel at home. Newbies, on the other hand, may find the controls hard to dominate at first, but not less enjoyable. Practice makes perfect.
GUSANOS improves greatly on what the original Liero left, adding modern graphics, audio and networking capabilites along with a myriad of other features.
The GUSANOS engine is fully moddable. It achieves this in a Quake-like fashion, so that each mod lives in its own folder without messing with the core game files.
Moddability is present at every level, from graphics to game logic. Hardcore modders get full power with the LUA scripting language. You can use the engine to create an entirely new game (Total Conversion), or simply add a few imaginative weapons.

Patrol Falcon is a remake of Falcon patrol, an old C64 classics by Steve Lee, in which players have to defend their ground resources from waves after waves of enemy planes. Use the cursor keys to move around, and press the control key to launch a missile. Your plane carries up to a hundred missiles at any time. Fuel and missiles can be replenished by landing carefully on any of the platforms.

Sonic Ironstorm: Fatal Attack is an updated version of DHC's earlier 3Punge competition entry. Hold the Z key to shoot, and press the X key to launch a missile. The secondary weapon can be used repeatedly without any penalties.
Collectibles marked S increases your shield count, while acquiring items marked P upgrades your firepower in small increments. There are six stages to explore, though one is marked as a secret and players are only allowed to take on a maximum of three missions in each game.

The gameplay is the same with some new addition,
i played for some time but i saw no sign of the
alien-ship that captures and 'twin' your ship

Battleships Forever is a freeware tactical Real Time Strategy game that put's you in command of a small fleet of warships in space. Combat and damage mechanics are extremely detailed. Everything is simulated in game if possible. There are no abitrary "to hit chance" values in Battleships Forever. The game also features many innovative mechanics that you've never seen before. For example, the Cronus Battleship sports a Flux Shield generator that allows you to draw a defensive force shield around your ships in any shape you want. Another example are the Deflector modules that are used extensively through the game. These modules make a single section of a ship totally invulnerable to fire. This means that you will have to manoeuvre your ships to attack sections of the enemy ships not protected by Deflectors while keeping your own protected sections facing the enemy. Position is paramount!Players will command picked fleets made up of Battleships, Destroyers and Patrol Craft. R is a platform/puzzle/action/adventure game created from Michal Marcinkowski(author of Soldat)'s discussions with Dolny sometime in 2004 and 2005. The game is not finished and never will be. There are whole sections of the game not done, missing graphics, animations, sounds, maps and cutscenes. However the game is complete in its design and is fully playable from beginning to end. So don't worry about the missing maps, it'll just make you finish the game faster and enjoy the magnificent ending. The source code is included in the game.

This is certainly not an average platformer! This is what you get when you make a "Jump'n'Run" game, but leave out the Run. It's all jumping from start to beginning, and you aren't allowed to stop bouncing around.

Funky physics, stylish graphics, catchy music and bunch of weird levels to say it short.
