Space Exploration: Serpens Sector is an upcoming RPG by Metal Beetle Ltd. It’s a work in progress, but you can download a development preview now.
In SE:SS, you are tasked with charting the long-abandoned Serpens Sector, a region of space reached through a wormhole near Earth. Each star system you visit brings you an encounter with something – aliens, ancient ruins, other humans and many dangers. The map and encounters are chosen at random for each game, which means that each game plays out differently.
Author releases new previews every once in a while and he is very interested in any feedback – so once you’ve tried it out, head over to the developer’s forum and tell him what you think – or use the feedback form. You can also follow the game’s development on Twitter.
The base game will be free and there will be expansion packs for sale. The 1.0 version of the game is scheduled to be released later this year, and will be available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

TrueCombat:Elite (TCE) is a modern world total conversion of the free, popular, stand-alone third-person shooter, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. That is, TCE is an entirely free game, made by gamers, for gamers.
TCE was developed by GrooveSix Studios and Team Terminator. While Team Terminator is known for the famous Q3 based TrueCombat series, GrooveSix Studios was initiated by retired Team Terminator co-founder Coroner to develop a Return to Castle Wolfenstein modification that was never released.
TCE is a tactical-team shooter, set up in a modern-world environment. TCE puts you into the role of elite mercenary soldier in the conflicts of two internationally operating forces. The Global Intervention Force (GIF626 aka in-game as “Spec Ops”) is a special force formed of the top of the world experts joining from US Delta force, UK SAS, German KSK and GSG9, to mention a few. An international mercenary organization known as “The Unit” (aka “Terror” in-game) is their opponent. It was reported that some members of the Unit were once with the Special Op forces, but the lure of money was strong.

A multiplayer patch for Running With Scissors’ POSTAL 2 – is now available via download as a very special gift to the POSTAL Community.
Co-created by RWS member Jon Merchant and POSTAL mod master Kamek, with support from various members of that storied game community, the patch dubbed 1409X is prepared to prove that the long wait for its arrival was well worth it.
“1409X is a collection and vast improvement of the greatest and most commonly used POSTAL 2 multiplayer updates, game types and fixes, all organized into a nice little patch,” explained Merchant. “It also fixes some bugs based on community feedback and adds three new DeathMatch maps, eight arena maps and a Snatch map.”
Running With Scissors released for free the multiplayer version of Postal 2: Share the Pain, the multiplayer expansion to their controversial FPS Postal 2. Share The Pain contains 14 multiplayer maps, 25 playable characters, 11 crazy weapons and 4 different gametypes.

Armies of Gielinor (AoG) is a turn-based strategy game for up to 8 players, and the first FunOrb game to be based on our massively multiplayer adventure game, RuneScape (Gielinor being an alternative name for RuneScape’s world). All players start out with a lowly barbarian chieftain and must capture structures, teleport in new units and battle with their enemies to control the mightiest army on Gielinor.
The game also features a single-player, map-driven campaign mode, allowing you to recreate the Zamorakian conquest of Morytania, in the age of the God Wars. This provides you with 17 missions to test your tactical thinking, and numerous ways to complete the entire campaign.
There are a lots of different units, each aligned to the various gods of Gielinor. Some units are very powerful, while others have special abilities that can affect the landscape or introduce various different strategies for you to employ. Can you balance your army’s strengths to take on any opponent and emerge victorious?
