2D game engine and level editor.
Frank Engine is an object oriented game development framework written in C++. The purpose is to be a fun and fast to create large open world 2D games. Everything necessary to create a fully featured game is included: physics (Box2D), rendering (DirectX), level editor, dynamic lighting, particle system, sound, music (Ogg Vorbis), gamepad input, GUI, and debug console. The code is fairly well documented and includes a simple starter project build on.

Construct 2 is a gamemaker program to make games, there are 3 versions, the first is free (with limitations) and allows the creation of html 5 games without writing a single line of code, the other two versions are for developers to make iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, Facebook, Chrome Web Store, Firefox Marketplace, and the web (HTML5) games. the price for the commercial edition are interesting.
