This week Dawn of Fantasy get the first major Expansion and 50% Off on Steam!

Reverie Studio released the first major expansion to the Dawn of Fantasy: Kingdom Wars. The free-expansion includes sixteen fantastic new towns that have been added to the Online Kingdom that players can lay siege to in either solo or coop mode as well as new Alliance functionality which allows players to create and join alliances to connect with friends and like-minded players, sharing information and resources. This is just the start, there are still more great additions yet to come with several amazing new units, even more Alliance features and awesome new pathfinding updates to improve performance. These additions are due in the next part of the Siegeworks expansion which will be out soon.

A year after it’s release, Reprisal has now gone free to play! If you’ve not got your hands on a copy of Reprisal’s desktop edition now you can.

Created in homage to Populous and the nostalgia of 16 bit games, Reprisal lets you take control of a tribe, guiding them, building land and making them grow in number. Using special totem powers you can control nature itself unleashing its full fury on anyone that stands in your way. But be warned, other tribes may not take too kindly to your intentions and will put up a fight!

2D game engine and level editor.

Frank Engine is an object oriented game development framework written in C++. The purpose is to be a fun and fast to create large open world 2D games. Everything necessary to create a fully featured game is included: physics (Box2D), rendering (DirectX), level editor, dynamic lighting, particle system, sound, music (Ogg Vorbis), gamepad input, GUI, and debug console. The code is fairly well documented and includes a simple starter project build on.
