Sandboxie – thrust no program

posted in FREE APPS, VIDEO | Posted by FireSword

Sandboxie runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer.

The program is shareware not freeware. (Through a generous shareware)
-Secure Web Browsing: Running your Web browser under the protection of Sandboxie means that all malicious software downloaded by the browser is trapped in the sandbox and can be discarded trivially.
-Enhanced Privacy: Browsing history, cookies, and cached temporary files collected while Web browsing stay in the sandbox and don’t leak into Windows.
-Secure E-mail: Viruses and other malicious software that might be hiding in your email can’t break out of the sandbox and can’t infect your real system.
-Windows Stays Lean: Prevent wear-and-tear in Windows by installing software into an isolated sandbox.

P.S This is not just useful to surf porn sites.. btw keep always antivirus running as well 😆

I use it since BF3 is out for Origin. Look working good.

    • Why? What bad things Origin do that require the use of this program? Isn’t Origin as “safe” as Steam btw?

Look on youtube with “origin” and “spyware” you will see. I have checked myself with “Process Monitor”, and it clearly look in some place on your hard drive or he should never go. And in the contract you need to accept for the software it written Origin is able to scan your hard drive and take everything he want for EA commercial use. I will never accept that, and i dont think Steam do that at this point.

    • I understand what you mean but consider that both Steam and Origin EULA are similar and that (dunno about USA)has no legal value in most of the countries. Also privacy is very important in west world countries, scanning your system info-files without your consent is a crime! So i don t think EA wanna risk to go bankrupty with a multi-millionare trial in court, also Steam protect itself by asking the user if he wants to take their survey. But ye if you say sandBoxie is safe to use.. why not.. but can we trust Sandboxie? 😆

have we the choice ? lol
I have heard EA have change the EULA for some country in europe yes (Germany if i remember). But for the lambda player, he will never see what EA will do in this computer with Origin.
Steam is the first one to have hypnotize everyone lol. It begin to have some monopoly problem i read.
