Hawken is a multiplayer mech combat game. The focus is on creating an intense and enjoyable battle experience that captures the feeling of piloting a heavy war machine while keeping the action fast-paced and strategic. Tanks with legs! Hawken will launch as a free-to-play PC game. Initial release is officially scheduled for 12/12/12.

This looks great, but I never understood the point of mechs. They wouldn’d be much of a challenge for modern ground forces. The more complicated it is, the more things can go wrong.
That’s true i think for Helicopters, the maintenance is expensive and difficult.. Also Mechs are always be seen in fantastic scenario or fantasy world only.. like Macross, BattleTech, Gundam etc etc 😆
