Free Falcon is a community build freeware simulation of primarily the F-16 Fighting Falcon, though a number of other jets can be flown.
This flight sim focus on realism. Dec’99 Hasbro Interactive ceased Microprose and thus the development of Falcon 4.0 (patch 1.08) and a year later Hasbro also took down the official Falcon 4 website. In April 2000 the source code of Falcon was leaked to the general public and the community picked up where Microprose stopped. Several patches, flyable planes and new campaigns were added. Eventually this led to the release of FreeFalcon 1 on April 25th, 2003. Currently (April 2011) Free Falcon 5.5.5 is available.

Thanks a lot of this Free Falcon files because Freefalcon.com doesn’t work anymore. Finally i found the files on your site. Only the files ITO V2 Part 1 and Part 2 doesn’t work while i try to unzip. It gives failers. Can you please put those files as rar files too. THANKS!

The ITO V2 files are probably corrupted, but when i unzip, the files seems ok.

About the NSIS error i dunno, but i will check the files to see if they are corrupted.

This version is excellent, my only issue is I can’t program my x55 rhino. I would really like to play this! I play Falcon 4 AF quite a bit but I prefer the way free falcon is set up. Thanx.

I downloaded and installed FreeFalcon 6.0 on my ASUS N73SV (i7 O.S. Windows 10). It does not start. says the Prompt: Falcon 4 FFViper (US) has stopped working -Close programs. Can it be that FreeFalcon is not for Win 10?
Both FreeFalcon 5.5 and FreeFalcon 6.0 works for Windows 10.
Why it doesn’t work on your computer?
-Could be a bad download, anyway if it unzip the file without errors, it’s not the case.
-Maybe download a new version of 7zip for FreeFalcon 6.
-Your system (gpu?) is not supported by the game.
